This class is for AP 2D Design Studio Art!!!!!

Welcome to Choi's Art Class

Welcome back! This class is for preparing AP 2D Design Test. The primary students meet 2 or 3 times per week as a whole group and in small group meetings as needed to submit the AP test. I look forward to maintaining a supportive environment for learning. My teaching methods are disciplined based on art history, art criticism, studio art, and aesthetics.

Communication

Course Updates: I will communicate with students through Announcements in Canvas and email

Choi's office hour: Prep time- 4th period by appointment

Expectations

Material Access: All the assignments and lectures will be delivered through class meetings and Modules in the Canvas.
Organizational Method: Students and parents can check their progress and grade via PowerSchool and Canvas
Expectations: Students must attend class meetings and hand in assignments before the Final Exam to earn the credit for this class.
Take AP 2D Studio Art test: May 10, 8 p.m. ET is the deadline for students to submit their portfolio components as final to the AP Program through the AP Digital Portfolio.

Quick Access

Hello AP 2D Art & Design Students,

If you plan to submit your art portfolio to the College Board to be scored by May 9th, you must pay for your art submission by this Friday, March 7th.

There are two ways to pay this week:

-Online at: https://sdusd.schoolcashonline.com/Fee/Details/22627/312/False/True Cost is $102.96.

OR

-At the finance office with cash or check. Cost is $98. If you qualify for a fee waiver, cost is $5.

If you think you may qualify for a fee waiver, please reach out to me via email or come by my office and I can check to see if you do qualify for a fee waiver.

Remember...there is no school on Friday, March 7th. If you plan to pay at the finance office, you must do so by end of the day Thursday, March 6th.
